What is Drill Team?
A drill team consists of four or more riders that perform a variety of complex maneuvers on horseback. Consistent spacing, alignment, timing, and coordination are skills required by each rider. Riders must also have dependable and athletic horses. Uniforms can be very simple with matching shirts, jeans, and hats or very elaborate with lots of glitter, chaps, and matching tack. |
